Empower Through Poetry

with Aja Monet

About

Calling all storytellers, visionaries, and lovers of language. Be inspired to write and perform with internationally acclaimed poet Aja Monet as she guides you through an in-depth reflection of your own story.

This workshop is an exploration of the power of metaphor and simile in our every day lives. How language shapes and arranges our world as well as our ability to imagine a new one. Join Aja Monet for an intimate and holistic poetry workshop where we will create new work and share what is discovered with one another. You don't have to write poetry to be a poet, however all poets see the power of poetics in everyday life. Let's celebrate the human search for meaning and encourage the strength of our inner voice.
